One of the most famous gingers in India. Very slightly spicy, but very aromatic. Contains little fiber.

The aroma of dried ginger differs from that of fresh ginger, the Indians give a different name to these two spices. Ginger from Cochin, India has a rich scent and is much less pungent than Chinese ginger.
