GEOGRAPHICAL AREA

The “Priego de Córdoba” PDO production zone, from which “Vizcántar” oils are made, is naturally delimited by a characteristic geography: located in the south-east of the provinces of Granada and Jaén, in the heart of Andalusia, southern Spain and southern Europe. The municipalities of Almedinilla, Carcabuey, Fuente Tójar and Priego de Córdoba form part of this area, occupying a total surface area of 44,818 hectares, of which 29,628 are devoted to olive growing.
